Auto munchies Dialer

The phone has gone through some vast alterations in the last few decades, analogue to digital, land lines to mobile networks but what next? Enter the Auto-munchies-Dialer is a revolution in the takeaway experience;

Are you hungry but don't know what you want to eat?

Tired off finding that menu for the kebab shop?

Are you too intoxicated to dial the number correctly?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above then the Auto munchies Dialer is for you. Upon picking up the handset of the Auto munchies Dialer a Breathalyzer test is performed and based upon the results a set takeaway restaurant is dialed automatically. As the number is being dialed you will be informed of the type of food that will be avalible to order, if in doubt just ask for chips.

The defaults are as follows

Blood Alcohol content Cuisine

0.06 – Pizza

0.1 – Kebab

0.2 – Chinese

0.3 – Massive curry

*0.4 or more – Ambulance

However this can be customized to the users tastes, for instance if your blood alcohol content was 0.2 you could have the Auto-munchies-Dialer call for a kebab instead of a Chinese. Or alternatively another popular option is to have the Auto munchies Dialer always order a "Massive curry".

It should be noted that whilst the Auto munchies Dialer does auto dial it does not auto order so you should ensure that your speech is coherent before using the Auto-munchies-Dialer to ensure a successful order.

The target market for this product are people in the age range of 18-25 years of age. This is because it is usually people in this age category (young drinkers) who find themselves in such a situation where the Auto munchies Dialer would be of use. I have reached this conclusion from collecting data from market research carried out by myself and my friends, also when I proposed this idea to my peers it was concluded to be a worthwhile invention.

The Auto munchies Dialer is available in a wide selection of colours and works with all major network providers. The Auto-munchies-Dialer can be purchased from the low low price of £9.99 or for £14.99 a cordless version is available. Auto-munchies-Dialers will be ready for purchase from 01/01/2017.

If you like this idea or have and suggestions for improvements feel free to post a comment detailing your thoughts.

Intro

My name is George and I am studying Software engineering at UClan. I enjoy listening to and playing heavy metal, some of my favorite bands include 36 Crazyfists, Machine Head, Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God you can see what I'm listening to here.

I come from a fairly long way away (image taken from Google Maps). I used to live in a town called Harpenden in Hertfordshire. I went to Roundwood Park School for my secondary and Sixth Form education.

My other interests include;
Linux - I run Ubuntu as my main OS as open source software tends to be more stable and flexible than comerical products as well as free.
Tech industry news – I have way too many RSS feeds and often find that whenever i check them i have over 1000 unread items at any given time
Cycling - although I did not bring my bike with me to Preston I do enjoy cycling both on and off road however in areas like Preston cycling amongst large amounts of traffic tends to be dangerous and quite stressful.
TV - I enjoy watching House, scrubs, E.R, Family Guy, Southpark and Breaking Bad.
The pub - its pubtastic! Some of my favourite drinks include beer, cider, whisky, vodka, tequila etc basically anything but gin. To be a little more specific I mainly drink Strongbow, Fosters, Kronenberg and Jagermeister or Absinthe if I can find any.
Books - Although I have not read many books after reading 1984 I am keen to read more of George Orwell's work and will pick up Animal Farm the next time I see it. I would also recommend "A brief history of time" by Steven Hawking if anyone is interested in theoretical physics

I have lived in Preston for just over a week now and have been enjoying my time here. Warehouse and PR1 are both places I enjoy going to as they play the style of music I like and I don't have to dance or adhere to a dress code.

I am staying in Roeburn Halls which means I can leave five or ten minutes before a class and still arrive on time which I have found to be very useful especially on freshers week.

I would like to go to Canada and Japan at some point. Canada because its like America but without the Americans and Japan because its basically like travelling into the future. I would also like to see more of Europe, preferably on a motorcycle.
